I have always been heavily involved in sports from a young age, having played and coached field hockey competitively for over 10 years. In that period I have been capped for Scotland several times.
Having heard friends talk about the CrossFit, I decided to give it a go in the hope that it would improve my performance on the hockey pitch. Everyone at the gym was so welcoming and friendly that I instantly felt at ease. In the gym you are likely to see me doing power cleans, box jumps or squatting.
After a year of training, I decided to do my level 1 course, as I had previously enjoyed coaching hockey. My favourite part of coaching at OCF is seeing the constant improvement that all of our athletes make on a regular basis, as well as ensuring that new members feel as welcome as I did when I first joined.
